Ravenfeather stretched luxuriously, arching her back and yawning. Sunlight fell over her black pelt making it shimmer when she moved. Ravenfeather glanced around the camp and settled down in the shadow of some ferns, curling her tail around her paws. The camp was calm for right now and Ravenfeather felt her eyes drooping as the warm sunlight continued heating her fur when the ferns moved in the breeze.
"I wonder if there are any other cats around" Ravenfeather meowed aloud, flicking her tail tip. "I almost wish there was a camp invastion or something, this is boring..."
Ravenfeather sighed and closed her eyes though not falling asleep. She kept her ears pricked in case anyond decided to approach.

The white and ginger kit ran over behind the Black Warrior. Cloverkit shook her rump and took off at Ravenfeather's twitching tail. [/glow] |

Ravenfeather heard the small paws of a kit and opened her eyes, lashing her tail over the kit's head. She turned and looked down at the little kit.
"Well hello there little one" Ravenfeather purred. "Won't your mother be upset if you're out of the nursery?"

Ravenfeather rasped her tongue soothingly over Cloverkit's pelt. "Now now, it's not as bad as growing up alone. At least you have other kits to play with. Besides, I'm not sure your mother would be too happy if I tried to raise you."
Ravenfeather touched her muzzle lightly on Cloverkit's head, between her ears. "I doubt I could make a good queen."

Ravenfeather curled her tail around the little kit. "Well I'd have to talk to your mother" Ravenfeather mewed, a hint of teasing in her voice. "I sure wouldn't mind having a sweet kit like you for my kit."

Speedstripe wandered out of the nursery, leaving her kits to sleep so she could get some fresh air. She looked around and spotted the onyx she-cat sitting close by. "Hello Ravenfeather," she dipped her head pollitly. "Have you happened to see Cloverkit any where?"[/glow] |
