Lionstar padded out of his den as the evening sun shown light into the camp. He stretched, his powerful muscles rippling under her golden tabby pelt. Stepping forward, the leader headed for the warriors den. "Who wants to go on the evening patrol?" he asked, sticking his head under the brambles that made up the warriors den. Lionstar was thinking of having them patrol the RiverClan border. While RiverClan and ThunderClan were currently on good terms, you never know when RiverClan may make another attempt at stealing Sunning Rocks. |

Speedstripe raised her head and the sound of a patrol. "I will Lionstar," her quiet voice sounded, not wanting to wake the other sleeping cats. She silently padded out, waiting by Lionstar for a slip second. She crouched down and pulled herself out of the bushes, and over to the center of the camp. Once there, she grabbed a sparrow and lay down in the warm sunlight. She was glad it was finally new-leaf, that prey was running around, that the kits are mewling and crawling out of the nursery, curious of the outside world. She blinked as the sun came out from behind the clouds and trees, hitting forest green orbs, turning them a shiny gold. As she finished up with her bird, she waited silently by the entrance for her leader. |
