Silent Walk [Speedstripe post here!]

Nightcloud stalked in between the prickly pine trees of ShadowClan territory. She hissed quietly as a particularly sharp on poked at her fur. The ebony huntress moved swiftly towards the Thunderpath , ready to mark the area with her ShadowClan scent. She she-cat knew that she-cat's scent was not quiet as strong as toms, but it seemed like most of the tom cats in ShadowClan had been staying away form her after her explosion with a former ShadowClan cat named Thunderthorn. It had been about three quarters of a moon since it had happened, and the black she-cat had forgotten about the two-toned tom.

he struck out from under a bush, not knowing that her former mate was on the other side of the ThunderPath. A monster rumbled by and the next thing Thunderthorn new, he was him being thrown to the side and hitting the beautiful onyx she-cat. "Yoooooooowwwll!!!"[/b][/glow][/center][/size]

Nightcloud's ears pricked and she leapt to the side as a ball of black and white fur barreled into her. Her settled down a tail length or two from the yowling creature. Suddenly, the onxy she-cat realized who had just ran into her. "Thunderthorn?" she meowed uncertainly.

"Help! Get a medicine-cat!!"[/b][/glow][/center][/size]

Nightcloud's worried gaze passed over the tom. She hesitated for a moment, then shook her head and pelted towards the RiverClan border.

Nightcloud streaked towards the black and white tom. She keeled beside him and swiped her tounge over his ear. "You'll be alright, Bluestorm's here." Her ton was gentle, like it used to be...

Bluestorm padded quickly to Thunderthorn's other side. Her quickly started chewing up a poultice to help with infection. "Where does it hurt?" he asked. [/size][/center]

[glow=darkgreen,10,1000]Thunderthorn pointed to his hind leg. "My leg, it feels like its broken." he said softly. [/glow]

[Runningtail]

Bluestorm sighed softly and applied comfrey to Thunderthorn's broken leg. He examined the tom's body a bit more, discovering a few scratches. To those, he applied marigold and cobwebs. Bluestorm shook a few poppy seeds from a plant and placed them on a leaf. "I know it'll be hard for you to walk, so im going to let you stay here until the poppy seeds kick in a bit more. Once you're ready to come back, Nightcloud can bring you." Bluestorm nodded to both cats and padded quickly away. He had heard of the Nightcloud and Thunderthorn, and the two most likely needed to talk.

Nightcloud nodded curtly to the grey tom. She sat straight and looked down at thunderthorn. "Are you alright?" she meowed softly.

[Thunderthorn and Nightcloud need to talk!]

[Runningtail]

Nightcloud nodded and rested her tail thoughtfully on the toms shoulder. She was keen not to look him in the eye as she spoke. "You know, it could have worked out." her voice gentle, almost weak sounding.
