A small kit stumbled and slid down the smooth surface of a rock. She was still snuffling slightly and a damp trail where tears had run down flattened the fur on her chest. Staticekit had managed to avoid danger so far but this place had far more threats than her journey here. As the she-kit swivelled about a corner she came face to face with a pair of glinting, emotionless eyes. She stood, frozen to the spot, until a forked red tongue fluttered from 'tween the scaly lips then the feline spun and sprang forward to run away...

[glow=black,2,300]The lithe midnight black cat slid out from under the bushes, her fur sparkling in the dazling sunlight. She pelted after the small brown creature, not knowing it was a kit, she thought it was a rabbit!
She caught up, and spotted her alittle ways ahead. Its not a rabbit! It's a foolish kit![/glow]

The kitten with pelt the colour of oak did not notice the shady-hued rogue as she continued in her headlong flight. Only when she turned to look back and saw that the onyx bloodclan cat was about a tail length away did her clear blue eyes glance towards the older she-cat and catch the golden gaze coming from her skull.She shrieked and slid to a stop with her skinny haunches slipping underneath her body making her slide without any dignity onto her back. This was a very difficult time as revealing her soft tummy was dangerous for any cat to do.

[glow=black,2,300]But the onyx she-cat did not want to hurt the little oak kit. She lightly took her paw turned her right side up, "Who are you? And what Clan are you in?"[/b][/glow][/center][/color][/size]

The kit's eyes grew as big as saucers as the other cat talked but suddenly Staticekit begun to shake her head rapidly, {I'm not going back. I'm to much of a wimp to do anything good for Thunderclan.} She gave a sharp intake of breath as she realised she had given the game away. Next she stopped shaking her head and slowly lowered it in defeat as she mewed pitifully, {My name is Staticekit}

[glow=red,2,300] The coal she-cat smirked. "Come with me, little one." Blackrose padded along side of Staticekit, as they headed back to her camp. "From now on, your name is just Statice." [/glow]

The little kit dug her heels into the ground and looked stubbornly down her nose. She mewed suddenly, {But I don't know you.} She looked wildly around trying to seek an escape but none were visible. With desperation creeping into her heart she yowled at the top of her squeaky voice, {HELP!} It was instinct to feel under threat even if the other was being kind. Changing names and asking kits to follow them just wasn't normal unless they were from the same clan plus Staticekit didn't think she could walk very far...

[glow=red,2,300]"You don't have to know me," Blackrose explained. "I thought back to ThunderClan anyway!" The sleek, onyx cat wisped around the pathetic kit. She picked her up by her scruff, making the tiny creature paralyzed in the spot. She headed toward the Last Street, where Bloodfang was."
