[we never even finished the other gathering! ] Flamestar appeared from the top of the hill. He raced down into the center of the four great oaks, and over to the giant rock. His green eyes looked around, once again he was first. And once again nothing to say.

[Oops, guess we didn't. Gomen nasai.]
Lionstar stood at the edge oft he ridge, surveying the clearing where the gathering of the four clans was held every full moon. ShadowClan was already there, making ThunderClan the second to arrive. Lionstar flicked his tail, giving the signal to descend. He bounded down the slope, his clan streaming down behind him. The golden tom leaped past the last bush and into the clearing. Slowing to a trot, he headed over the the Great Rock and Flamestar. "Greetings, Flamestar," meowed Lionstar, dipping his head in the way that was custom from leader to leader.

Jaypaw raced down the slope, excitment in every bound of her step. She and her brother, Kestrelpaw, had been made apprentices a few days ago, and yet, she already knew so much. This was her first gathering, and Lionstar would just be announcing her and Kestrelpaws apprenticeship. She proudly stepped lightly into te moonlit clearing. Kestrelpaw was buzzing with excitement beside her. His pelt quivered. She smiled. He had been by her side every since they were born. Following her and getting into the worst trouble. But she was always there to get them out. And she intended to keep it that way. She sniffed the air, only scenting Shadowclan and Thunderclan. THey must have been the second to arrive. She looked around at all the cats, and spotted a pretty she cat Shadowclan apprentice who looked about the same age as her. She padded over to go talk to her.
Kestrelpaw looked stunned at his sister as she abandoned him to go talk to another apprentice. She shrugged, and he turned around, going over to a different Shadowclan muscular tom apprentice.
[Whoever wants to be the two apprentices be my guest!]

Flamestar dipped his head back at Lionstar politely. "It's a nice night for a gathering, wouldn't you say?" As the tom spoke, he looked around at the ariving clans, his eyes finally getting used to the darkness. His paws shuffled nervously at what to say for his paragraph once everyone was here.
[Hey Lionstar. Nothing is happening in ShadowClan really right now. Can I just make up stuff to say for the gathering?]

[Sure. Or you could just say that nothing is going on and ShadowClan is doing well. You should be happy nothing is happening to your clan. ^^ ]
Lionstar mewed an agreement and glanced around at the two gathered clans. He spotted his two newest apprentices talking to ShadowClan apprentices and briefly hoped their mentors had reminded them to speak little and listen hard. He shifted his gaze to the slopes that swept away from the other two clans territories. RiverClan and WindClan should be arriving soon.

[well, yeah, but i mean, no new apprentices, kits, or warriors... its kinda bland. ] Flamestar's eyes followed with Lionstar's, towards the apprentices, wondering what they were mewling about. He silently wondered where WindClan and RiverClan were, usually they weren't this late. But the red tom sighed, already ready to go to sleep. He glanced up at the pinkish looking moon, and tilted his head, why was it pink? Who knows... Flamestar told himself. Flamestar hugged his tail tight, trying to keep himself warm with his thin fur and the chilly wind.

Jaypaw felt someone watching her. She shot a quick glance around to notice Lionstar and Flamestar sweeping their gazes over her and her brother. She held her head up higher, and her eyes shined with reknewed excitement. She remembered to choose her words carefully with the Shadowclan apprentice, even though she did seem nice.
Kestrelpaw listened intently to what the apprentices were saying, but rarely talked. He just let them talk among themselves. "Your a good listener. I can tell you listen." a Shadowclan apprentice she cat commented. "Thank you."he said and blinked. Was a Shadowclan cat actually giving him a complement? He hadnt expected them to.
